OVERVIEW & SPECIALISM:
Gizelle leads the ESG/Sustainability and Impact Investing Practice at Altus Partners, where she spearheads efforts to support buy-side community towards a sustainable future on a global scale. With a wealth of experience in executive recruitment, Gizelle has forged close partnerships with Private Markets funds and International Investment Banks across developed markets (pan-Europe) and emerging markets (Africa).
CAREER BACKGROUND:
Gizelle is a Psychology and Linguistics graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand, RSA together with an Honours degree in Applied Psychology from the University of South Africa. Her postgraduate studies include a Coaching for Development program from the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business.
OTHER:
As a Diversity Partner for Altus Partners, she works with selected organizations who are actively involved in diversifying workforces in the Alternative Investment industry. Through this she led Altus Partner’s inaugural hosting of an intern through 10KBI. She also serves as a volunteer for GAIN, supporting females in optimally positioning themselves for careers in Investment Management. Gizelle's contributions extend beyond her professional endeavours. She actively participates as a panellist for Durham University, focusing on empowering women on career breaks to re-enter the Technology industry.
INTERESTS:
Outside of work, Gizelle enjoys travelling to experience different cultures (the pandemic permitting) and fostering the development of others through coaching.
