Altus Partners is representing an exclusive Global Investment firm. As a multi-billion (USD) platform they actively invest across credible and competitive markets and across asset classes. This uniquely created role is positioned within the Private Markets team with the primary objective of ESG implementation across investment strategies. As a core member of the team, you will execute the already established ESG processes, whilst continuously defining how this will take form across the broader organisation. It is an excellent opportunity to leverage off your technical insight, through guiding the data collection, synthesis, and automation, all whilst enhancing ESG plans and ESG monitoring.

 

THE ROLE:

As a practiced ESG professional within Real Assets (either Real Estate and/ or Infrastructure) you will serve as a person of key influence in the integration of ESG strategies. Equally important to this role is the position you will have in educating the broader business on what effective ESG strategy means, as you monitor this on an ongoing basis and lead respective improvements. Your main responsibilities, will include:

  • Integrating sustainability factors into the investment process, through ESG operational due diligence, asset management of Real Assets, and reporting and analytics

  • Leading the ESG integration across operational due diligence for the origination of new mandates

  • Managing ESG integration projects extending to workflows enhancement, data management, analytics, and tools

  • Designing, developing, and standardizing ESG dashboard, metrics, and processes in support of evaluation for investments in Private Markets (Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Private Equity investment opportunities)

  • Monitoring of ESG considerations in Private Markets investments, undertaking gap analysis and creating provisions thereof

  • Automation of ESG data collection through digitalization, standardization, and streamlining of the overall process thereby supplementing ESG Analytics

  • Monitoring emerging ESG trends and ESG regulations, and critical assessment of how such influences assets

  • Ongoing enhancement of ESG practices in line with Private Markets investments and through partnering with benchmarking agencies

     

THE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience in integrating ESG strategies/ ESG frameworks for unlisted Real Estate or Infrastructure investments

  • Data management and reporting and analytics where ESG data is concerned is beneficial. Experience with Tableau and / or Power BI is highly advantageous

  • Private Markets experience in Real Assets (Real Estate and / or Infrastructure)

  • Team oriented with a technical orientation and sincere appreciation for informing investments through an ESG lens
