THE SEARCH:
We are pleased to be partnering with a Private Equity backed business based in London to hire a Chief of staff to the CEO. Experience within Pharma/Life Sciences from an academic and professional standpoint are essential for this role. This role will assist in the international growth of the organisation and will assist the CEO directly on a wide range of commercial and transformational projects.
THE ROLE:
Drive selected part of the value creation programme working on interdisciplinary projects in an international context
Develop, define, plan and deliver strategic initiatives/ Programmes in cross-functional teams in different areas of our business, including central functions, to achieve measurable improvements and benefits as part of the organisations Transformation Programme
Provide strategic guidance as well as hands-on support to the Project Leaders to ensure they can meet their targets
Support the CEO on selected high value projects
Undertake evaluations/reviews of existing ways of working to identify gaps in performance
Challenge business owners and identify new areas of value creation and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure planned initiatives and projects are delivered on time with the planned financial gains
Ensure strategic alignment and effective programme organization
Manage effective proactive engagement and communication with all stakeholders (e.g. Finance & Controlling, Communications, Human Resources etc)
Create top management presentation, analyses and reports on a regular basis
Actively contribute to developing a positive culture of continuous improvement across the organisation
THE REQUIREMENTS:
5 years minimum experience in a Strategy/Consulting within Pharma/Life Sciences
Experience of working in a demanding environment with highly motivated and driven professionals
Experience of working autonomously on projects and handling multiple work streams
Academic Qualification/Degree in a life Sciences subject
