The Search:
Altus Partners has partnered with a growing Venture Capital fund that is looking to bring on a COO to grow and develop the business. The business is going through a growth phase and the COO will be a vital decision maker in the development of the business.
The Requirements:
The COO would be responsible for leading from an operational perspective, which would encompass the day-to-day management of the business including managing Operations. The main focus of this role would be to lead a collaborative team with strong, efficient processes and guiding the leadership team on relevant operational change. The candidate must have experience in VC or PE.
Responsibilities:
Compliance:
•Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across the business, including AIFMD reporting
•Anti- Money Laundering – ensuring in compliance with policy across operations
Risk:
•Responsible for fulfilment of all Operational risks procedures required Investor Relations
•Originating and developing existing relationships with the fund investor base
•Developing IR strategy
•Managing DDQ and RFP requests
•Responsible for marketing - including positioning, product literature, PR, and communications.Accounting:
•Ensuring accounting service delivery is of a high standard
•Set up of new operational model, review of legal documentation etc
IT:
•System maintenance and oversight of outsourced relationships to ensure service quality is monitored to our satisfaction
Other tasks
•Assisting with management of staff
•Company secretarial matters and maintenance of Directorships
•Change management – project participation and implementation
