Altus Partners are delighted to be partnered with a Private Equity backed facilities manager & business services provider based in London. The company has experienced steady organic growth, and recently won 5 major long-term contracts that will be a cornerstone of the organisation going forward. This commercial success, coupled with recent private equity backing, have established the need for a Finance & Operations Manager to join the business. This newly created role will work remotely and report at a Group level.
This is a crucial role within the organisation and will oversee all projects from a finance perspective, along with management of accounting and commercials for long term contracts.
Managing and developing the finance team of 4
Business partner with project leaders, reporting on WIP, cashflow management and ensuring accurate budgeting and forecasting
Full oversight of operational finance for specific construction projects
Full control of the general ledger and P&L
Producing accurate and timely financials and presenting to private equity investors
Oversight and accounting for large long-term contracts
Increase efficiency and automation of finance processes
Ensuring robust systems and frameworks are in place to accommodate rapid growth through the organisation
Ad hoc accounting projects
Prior facilities management/construction experience
Experience in dealing with long term contracts is beneficial
Project based accounting experience would be an advantage
Strong technical accounting ability
