THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners have partnered with a global scaling consumer goods businesses with a TO of up to 8 million. Operating in the UK, US, and Australia, this business has grown significantly over the past few years and is predicted to increase further over the next couple of years. Therefore your role will include, implementing new systems and processes, helping to automate the finance department. This is a broad finance role and will be attractive to a dynamic individual looking to have a fundamental impact by establishing and running the finance department.
THE ROLE:
This role will include a commercial element; forecasting, budgeting, and planning and stock management
Preparations of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
Managing the accounting team
Research and analyse financial reports and market trends
Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts
Stock costing and variance analysis
System improvement and the implementation of various accountancy software systems
Liaising with key stakeholders in the decision-making process
YOUR BACKGROUND:
Qualifications CIMA or ACCA qualified
Ideally, you would have worked on Xero
Experience in FMCG, consumer goods or retail
3 – 4 years’ proven experience working in scaling SME
Proven experience having implemented new software systems
Experience in reporting to senior stakeholders across the business
Ability to explement accountancy software system – both long term and short terms solutions
This role requires a self-starter that can work to your own initiative, quickly understand the business at a detailed level and someone who is going to consistently seek better ways of achieving the team’s goals
