THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners are currently partnered with a Private Equity backed Industrials business that is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to help facilitate their significant growth. Following substantial investment from one of Europe’s leading Private Equity funds, they plan to aggressively capitalise on what is a highly fragmented market through several targeted acquisitions across Europe. This role can be based in either Munich or Stuttgart and requires applicants to be fluent in both English and German.
THE ROLE:
Deliver process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting process
Oversight of the day-to-day running of finance
Leading the annual audit process
Manage and develop five junior team members
Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance across various international jurisdictions
Full responsibility for month-end and year-end close process
Assisting the FP&A function with the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and variance analysis
Ad-hoc commercial project work alongside the Group Finance Director and CFO
THE REQUIREMENTS:
ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) Fully qualified with 3+ years PQE
Experience working within a Private Equity environment beneficial
Advanced Excel skills
Experience running day-to-day finance operations
Fluent in English and German
