THE SEARCH:

​Altus Partners are working exclusively with an impact-focused private manager that is looking to strengthen its Institutional Sales team. The fund currently runs fixed income strategies but is looking to expand this across equities and alternatives (impact funds). They are going through an exciting growth phase and are looking to make several key hires to strengthen their Sales team from the AD through to the Partner level. The role will be based in London but focused on Institutional Sales across Europe, working with the Co-Heads to expand the firm's presence in the institutional markets.

 

THE ROLE:
  • Work with the MD and Executive Director to strategize European Institutional Sales, raise assets and ensure long-term growth 

  • Build new networks and use existing relationships with Institutional clients, such as pension funds, insurers, or sovereign wealth funds

  • Manage the entire sales process from qualifying to closing

  • Assist in driving the brand recognition and business development efforts in the European Institutional market

  • Develop and maintain a solid technical understanding of the firm's products and strategies to discuss with clients and prospects effectively and confidently

  • Research and identify new client/relationship development opportunities

  • Confidently present to clients, and prospects the firm's investments and funds/strategies

THE REQUIREMENTS:

You will have experience in selling to the European market with a track record of raising assets and developing institutional relationships in Europe. Experience operating in the private markets is preferred but not essential.
