THE SEARCH:
A market-leading independent ‘Core +’ and ‘’Value-Add’ Infrastructure Fund are looking to hire an Investment Associate into their London Investment Team. With c.£5.0bn AuM, they are currently in the middle of raising a new fund. Leading the Investments within the European Infrastructure landscape, it is an outstanding opportunity for individuals wanting to become the next leading Infrastructure Investor.
THE ROLE:
The role offers varied exposure across the activities of the infrastructure business including investment, client marketing and investment management and reporting. The primary focus of the role is on supporting the execution of new infrastructure investments and time spent on other activities will vary across the year, as well as:
•Analyse Infrastructure Investment Opportunities
•Execute Infrastructure Investments
•Assist with Monitoring of Infrastructure Investments
•Marketing and relationship building
•Team participation
THE BACKGROUND:
•Candidates will possess at 3-4 experience in Investment Banking / Private Equity/Transaction Services/Financial Modelling teams
•Fluent European language is preferable
•Sector experience (Energy & Utilities, Transportation, Renewable Energy) is essential
•Be proactive, with ability to take on a high degree of responsibility and to execute critical work streams with limited supervision
•Possess outstanding interpersonal skills and a strong team ethic
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Commercial acumen – ability and interest in analysing and comparing businesses
•All-round M&A experience (origination, execution, due diligence, financing) is a bonus
•Strong academics
