Altus Partners have partnered with a global investment bank offering banking, securities and investment management services. The organisation is looking for a Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team. THE ROLE:

  • Preparation of year-end statutory accounts for all Group companies

  • Responsibility and ownership of accounting and reporting of multiple group entities

  • Group consolidation

  • Preparing budgets, forecasts and helping to deliver improved Kip's throughout the business

  • Review of period-end balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the business

  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations for payroll related balance sheet accounts

  • Management of daily cash-flow and general banking related matters

  • Co-ordination and management of year-end audit, the main point of contact for external auditors.

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Qualifications: ACA / ACCA / CIMA

  • University degree or equivalent

  • 2+ years’ post-qualified experience

  • SME experience in a brokerage or investment banking firm is desirable

  • Fintech, FX or related sector experience is essential

  • System experience: Sage 200 or Sage 50

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • High personal/professional ethics and integrity

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines and to deliver high-quality output in line with requirements, often defined by others
