Altus Partners have partnered with a leading Alternative Investment Manager, in a search to find a Financial Accountant to join their team. THE ROLE:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders across the business including non-finance individuals

  • Delivering on budgets and forecasting

  • Reporting on key business drivers

  • Oversight of month-end and another period close with subsequent variance analysis reporting

  • Building and maintaining various models and reports in a manual and complex environment seeking full opportunities to automate

  • Managing team development and support

  • Providing analysis of performance and insight into business drivers that impact on performance

  • Attending and contributing to various project working groups

  • Understanding documenting and re-engineering of end to end processes

  • Develop various reporting specifications and requirements and overseeing the development and rollout

  • Being a change agent and coaching the team through the transition

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • Qualifications ACCA / CA / CPA / ACA / CIMA

  • Ideally, you will have 5 - 8 years’ experience

  • You will have proven experience working within financial services

  • Proven experience having implemented new software systems

  • Experience in reporting to senior stakeholders across the business

  • Ability to explement accountancy software system – both long term and short terms solutions

  • Understanding of Financial Planning & Analysis systems and processes (e.g. budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and analysis)•Demonstrated analytical and business writing skills

  • This role requires a self-starter that can work to your initiative, quickly understand the business at a detailed level and someone who is going to consistently seek better ways of achieving the team’s goals
