OVERVIEW & SPECIALISM:

Philip Leads our Portfolio practice which specialises in placing C-Suite and Senior Manager level candidates into PE-backed corporates on a Pan- European basis. The team's core disciplines include CFO search, Financial team build-out/design and Corporate Development/M&A. Having partnered with several large-cap buyout funds through to small-cap growth investors, in building out finance and strategy teams, Philip has become the head-hunter of choice for portfolio businesses looking to scale upon acquisition or before an exit or IPO. 

CAREER BACKGROUND:

Originally from St Andrews, Philip attended the Madras College school before reading Law and English at the University of Aberdeen. Before joining Altus Partners, Philip spent four years working for a FTSE 250 listed Executive Search firm within the groups CFO practice. Philip is currently a Partner at Altus Partners and sits on the businesses senior leadership team. 

OTHER:

Philip was part of the team that won Acquisition Internationals ‘Best Buyside Executive Search Firm’ award in 2019 and 2020, respectively. 

INTERESTS:
