Claire sits within the Portfolio practice at Altus Partners, specialising in M&A, Corporate Development and Strategy mandates for private capital -backed companies. She has a successful track record of placing across Europe, with a strong focus on the DACH region and French-speaking countries. Being sector agnostic has allowed her to be a functional expert, building best-in-class M&A and strategy teams for mid to large cap portfolio companies, becoming a trusted advisor to the C-suite & investors alike. Typical assignments for Claire range from C-1, -2 level to team build projects, with a focus on acquisitive or high growth companies.
CAREER BACKGROUND:
Claire is originally English and Spanish, born & raised in France. She studied English Literature with Creative Writing at Lancaster University and started her career in Search at a large firm based in London in 2017. She focused at the time exclusively on the Strategy Consulting market in France, before moving to a boutique firm specialized in global hires for private equity -backed technology companies. Claire joined Altus Partners in 2022, offering her the opportunity to combine these two experiences and establish herself as an expert in the private equity space, with a clear functional spike in M&A/Corporate Development and Strategy.
INTERESTS:
Claire was previously a competitive dancer and still enjoys dancing as a hobby. She also partakes in reading, dining out, musical theatre, walking, and really likes cold weather (hence her move to England).
