OVERVIEW AND SPECIALISM:

George is an Associate within our Portfolio Practice team, where his primary responsibilities include providing search support to the Portfolio Team, whose core disciplines include CFO search, Financial team build-out/design and Corporate Development/M&A. The main focus of his research activities relate to M&A and Corporate Development.

CAREER BACKGROUND:

George joined Altus Partners on the back of graduating from the University of Edinburgh with a high first-class degree in History of Art. During his time there, he specialised in the Early Tudor and Stuart Portraiture, culminating in an original research dissertation on Anne of Denmark which is currently under review to be published. His cosmopolitan upbringing -- with stints in London, Berlin, Munich, and Zurich -- along with his native German bilingualism, make him an approachable contact within our Portfolio Practice team.

INTERESTS:

Outside of the office, you'll find him wandering through galleries, going to gigs, or enjoying his yoga, as well as London's vibrant restaurant scene.
