OVERVIEW & SPECIALISM:
Gizelle is a Consultant within the Private Equity & Portfolio practice at LCap Group. Her functional specialism includes building fit for purpose ESG/ Sustainability teams where she partners with leading global buy-side firms to drive Sustainability agendas both at the fund and portfolio level. With recruitment experience spanning emerging (Africa) and developed markets, she has worked with Private Equity funds and boutiques on Partner to Executive-level hires, building strong relationships within the buy-side and sell-side ecosystem.
Gizelle is CIPD Level 5 certified, enhancing the talent advisory services to our clients. She holds an Honours degree in Applied Psychology from the University of South Africa together with a Coaching for Development program, completed at the University of Cape Town.
CAREER BACKGROUND:
Gizelle’s earlier career includes talent acquisition delivery to International Investment Banks and Private Equity funds domiciled in South Africa. Her introduction to developed markets later included talent acquisition for Financial Services divisions of Global Consulting firms, across Europe. Through this she has a good command of the behavioral dynamics underlining hiring in different economies and different industries.
OTHER:
As a Diversity Partner for Altus Partners, she works with selected organizations who are actively involved in diversifying workforces in the Alternative Investment industry. She serves as a volunteer for GAIN, supporting females in optimally positioning themselves for careers in Investment Management. Through successive collaboration with INSEAD’s IPEVC associates, she helps annual MBA cohorts prepare for their professional endeavors post graduating. Gizelle led Altus Partner’s inaugural partnership with 10KBI, leading to our annual hosting of interns. These involvements leverage her learning and capstone delivery from her Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: DEI Strategies for Business Impact program completed at Cambridge Judge Business School.
INTERESTS:
Outside of work, Gizelle enjoys travelling to experience different cultures and fostering the development of others through coaching.
