Altus Partners are currently partnered with a Private Equity backed Healthcare business in the North of Frankfurt. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will play a critical role in overseeing the company's financial reporting, accounting, and tax functions. This is a strategic leadership position that requires a strong technical background, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to drive process improvements.
THE ROLE:
Lead the preparation of accurate and timely consolidated financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP)
Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making at both the operational and strategic levels
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and streamline workflows
Develop and execute the company's tax strategy, collaborating with external tax advisors as needed
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of accounting and tax professionals
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
Significant experience (8+ years) in progressively responsible finance roles, including managerial experience
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and relevant tax regulations
Prior experience in private equity-backed or complex multinational environments is highly desirable
Proficiency in financial reporting systems and ERP software; advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
