Altus Partners has partnered exclusively with a leading Real Estate Investment Manager that is going through exponential growth phase and is looking to bring on an Investment Operations and Portfolio Management Manager Associate to join the successful and dynamic Portfolio Management team based in London. The team is pivotal to the smooth running of the real estate business, providing operational, deal execution support and portfolio management as well as being the main point of contact with senior management for all Investment Operations requirements. The team works with various stakeholders across the business including deal teams, finance, tax, legal and external counterparties.

THE ROLE:

The role requires a suitable candidate to join the Portfolio Operations team within the Investment Office function. The role will directly support the global real estate business and be the main point of contact.

  • Manage the delivery of insightful market, fund and portfolio company data and analysis to existing investors,

  • Participating in regular fund updates deals teams and investors.

  • Co-ordinate timely responses to all investor queries working closely with additional fund services providers

  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality investor reporting for annual meetings for reporting funds

  • Working with the Senior Management to prepare for ongoing limited partner advisory committee meetings

  • Co-ordinate and oversight of the updates of fund and portfolio requirements to ensure information is timely, accurate and meets deadlines.

  • Working with the Director and Partner for Real Estate funds across the business to ensure timely reporting and consistency in valuations of the portfolio assets

  • Project management across various workstreams co-investment transactions, co-ordination of investor requirements, developing best practice, and being involved in the system transformation project

THE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Qualified Accountant with an audit or corporate finance background

  • 2 – 5 Years’ experience in a Real Estate Transaction Support and Investment Operations function

  • Strong understanding of Real Estate Portfolio Reporting

  • Excellent MS Office skills

  • Comfortable working under pressure, including ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

  • A strong team player who is keen to learn and pick up new challenges in a dynamic and fast paced environment
