THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners is pleased to partner with an international global impact consulting firm to lead the search for their Group CFO. They are looking for an executive board member to align with other members of the C-Suite and business directors to help develop the company’s key aims. The role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects in a dynamic and international working environment. The role can be based from anywhere in the UK.
THE ROLE:
The role will focus on leading the Finance and IT functions, working on reporting and controlling processes together with the CEO. You will play a key role in building out an international finance function.
Build a best-in-class Finance & IT team
Manage the company’s distributed businesses from a legal, tax, and finance perspective in a variety of jurisdictions, including the US and UK
Key contributor to the overall business strategy
Own all aspects of the Finance function, including but not limited to internal and external reporting, business controlling processes and strategic financial plans
Take responsibility for (Finance-related) IT roadmap and setup
Act as ‘sparring-partner’ to the CEO, COO, and other senior stakeholders
THE REQUIREMENTS:
A hands-on mentality with experience of building up a finance function ‘from scratch’
Industry experience in professional businesses services will be highly beneficial
Experience of working in international organisations and knowledge of the associated requirements, in particular but not only the UK, US, MENA
Experience working in a Private Equity environment
M&A experience is beneficial
