THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners are partnered with a Private Equity backed Construction company based in Germany who have increased their turnover and headcount significantly within the last three years. This opportunity can be based in either Hanover or Munich. Their recent investment will help fuel their operations across Germany alongside their internal offerings. As Head of Finance, you will work closely with the CFO and Senior Leadership team to oversee the strategic and operational management of the department and provide further insight in to the growth of the company.
THE ROLE:
Responsibility for the monthly and annual financial statements of the Group companies.
Further development and professionalisation of corporate controlling
Budget planning in coordination with the specialist departments and management
Responsible for the due diligence and investment appraisals
Planning and management of guarantees
Further development of the internal reporting and control system (KPIs, cost accounting, profitability analyses)
Other particular focuses include sustainability reporting, and the introduction/further development of ERP
THE REQUIREMENTS:
A degree in either business administration, industrial engineering with a focus on finance and accounting or a comparable qualification.
Significant professional experience with operational experience in the area of tax law, HGB, annual financial statements and consolidation experience
3 - 5 years of management and leadership experience
Experience with modern ERP software, ideally also in the introduction of ERP software
Confident demeanour and entrepreneurial thinker and operator
Ability to complete HGB statements
Strong understanding of numbers, as well as an analytical and conceptual way of working
