THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners are currently working with one of the largest and most acquisitive multisite healthcare groups in Europe, headquartered in Madrid, Spain. Our client has backing from one of the largest Private Equity funds in Europe and has grown exponentially through acquisition over the past 2 years. As the business approaches a planned event in the next 3 years, they are ramping up the acquisitions of smaller competitors in what is a highly fragmented marker, with a focus on South Western Europe. They are seeking an experienced Head of FP&A who will not only provide critical analysis across the group, but also play an integral role in all M&A activity, acting as a crucial link between the Finance function and Corporate Development teams.
THE ROLE:
Create world class MI and Dashboards to dissect business unit performance
Drive an exceptional business partnering culture
Lead of generation & coordination of a qualified deal pipeline for the group
Present forecasts and critical analysis to the board and external stakeholders
Critically assess the impact of each potential acquisition target for the group
Lead on deal structuring, working closely with the CFO and CEO
Creating relationships with business owners and managing these relationships throughout and after acquisition processes
Understand the reporting pressures and standards that come with working for a large cap Private Equity backed business
Supporting a number of key board members in providing key information to and from the Finance department, acting as the key go-between for the group
Ad-hoc commercial project work alongside CFO and CEO
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years PQE
University degree in Business, Economics or Accountancy preferred
Fully fluent (written and spoken) Spanish and English language skills
Experience working in a PE backed environment
Experience working in a high-growth, multi-site business highly beneficial
Strong business partnering skills
You communicate easily with C-Level stakeholders
