THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners is delighted to be partnering with a notable mid-market Private Equity firm to lead the search for an Interim Finance Director to support the acquisition of a high growth B2C asset. This is a pre-deal scenario and will be responsible for supporting final due diligence matters, executing the transaction and ensuring that robust finance frameworks and systems are in place to accommodate growth and stand-up to deeper levels of rigour in compliance. The successful applicant will be an established Private Equity Finance Director with a track record of building optimal finance functions, and will be immediately available.
THE ROLE:
Full oversight of all compliance, governance and controllership matters across the business
Supporting the PE firm on all final DD matters and completion of the transaction
Development and leadership of a growing operational finance function
Together with leadership, implementing KPIs and the target operating model
Implementation of best-in-class financial processes, systems and frameworks
Presenting insightful MI, analysis and financial information to the investors
Preparation and presentation of the group P&L and Balance sheet
Implementation and continuous improvement of the management accounts pack to support the business growth and complexity.
Strong balance sheet control ensuring all account and reconciled and reviewed monthly.
Reviewing and ensuring the financial accounting for the group ensuring the correct treatment of items regarding revenue, intercompany and share options.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be readily available to start
Private Equity exposure
Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Hands-on exposure to implementing optimal processes and systems
Experience in working for a high growth organisation is highly beneficial
B2C experience is beneficial
