Altus Partners is delighted to be working on behalf of our client, an esteemed investment firm dedicated to partnering with fast-growing companies. We are seeking an Investment Principal to focus on DACH Growth Equity opportunities, based in Munich.

THE ROLE:  

As an Investment Principal, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing growth equity investments in the DACH region. You will play a key role in the entire investment lifecycle, from sourcing and due diligence to execution and portfolio management. You will also be instrumental in developing and nurturing relationships with business owners, management teams, and key stakeholders to drive operational transformation and achieve high growth targets.

THE REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Experience: Proven track record in growth equity or private equity investments, particularly within the DACH region. Experience in buy-and-build strategies and corporate carve-outs is highly desirable.

  • Skills: Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to conduct thorough due diligence and investment analysis.

  • Relationships: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, management teams, and key stakeholders.

  • Education: Advanced degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.

  • Personal Qualities: Entrepreneurial spirit, high curiosity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
