​THE SEARCH: 

Altus Partners is exclusively collaborating with a private asset manager that oversees approximately £3.5 billion across private equity and private credit strategies, primarily investing in the financial and business services sectors. Experiencing a period of robust growth, the firm is seeking to fill a newly created role for a technically proficient Investor Relations Associate/Senior Associate focused on fundraising for its private credit-related strategies.

This presents an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong technical understanding of relevant credit investment strategies (such as asset-based lending and securitization) to join a high-performing team in a multifaceted IR role offering significant client exposure.

 

THE ROLE:

  • Collaborate with the IR team to provide support mainly in Private Credit, focusing on investor reporting and communications.

  • Exhibit a solid understanding of alternatives and the Private Credit sector by drafting investor communications and reports, responding to RFPs, creating marketing materials, and engaging with investors.

  • Assist in crafting investor communications, responding to DDQs, and ensuring clarity and accuracy.

  • Efficiently create customized presentations.

  • Support the Finance team in preparing investor reports, ensuring consistency across documents and internal records while maintaining thoroughness and accuracy.

  • Aid the IR team in business development activities, including researching and reaching out to new investors, sourcing RFPs, and investigating new mandates.

  • Prioritize the maintenance of CRM systems and investor records to support investor relations strategies.

  • Ensure documents are of the highest quality before being reviewed by the investment team.

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Analytical mindset with technical skills, ideally with a background in private or public credit.

  • Experience in investor relations/fundraising is preferred.

  • Possess a client-first attitude, a strong work ethic, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
