Altus Partners is delighted to have been retained by a fast-growing private equity manager that invests in the Media sector. They are one of the fastest-growing funds in the sector (currently 80 people in the business), with several notable investments, and are led by the founder of a $150 million European private equity fund, alongside leading figures in the entertainment industry. They have an exciting, newly created opportunity for an Investor Relations Associate to support a fantastic team and work in a varied role to support their fundraising and day-to-day client servicing of its institutional investor base.

 

THE ROLE:

  • Assist with the day-to-day coordination and management of relationships with existing and new investors in the funds. Support and assist the organisation and coordination of regular client events and communications.

  • Co-ordinate, support and assist in the collection, analysis and reporting of Fund, Portfolio Company and ESG data, case studies, and Information requests to investors.

  • Attend introductory pitches and providing full support to the senior team throughout the sales cycle

  • Manage relationships with third-party agents, attending regular calls, maintain LP pipeline, and integrate into the CRM

  • Research LPs using databases, and reach out to potentially interested LPs, set up intro calls / meeting, follow up, and lead interactions

  • Assist in implementing various initiatives, such as networking, DEI, ESG etc. both internally and externally

  • Work on LP due diligence requests to drive LP through the process to investment.

  • Handle administrative duties for the IR team

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, with exposure to all aspects of investor relations and experience raising for alternative investment strategies.

  • Additional European language skills are highly advantageous

  • An individual who understands the fund’s investment approach, and how to articulate the unique aspects of this strategy to institutional investors.

  • A collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial mindset, adept at flourishing in dynamic 'start-up' environments, and unfazed by changing situations and demanding deadlines

  • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
