Altus Partners are working exclusively with a global asset manager that invests across equities, fixed income, and alternative investments. They are looking to hire for a newly created role in their Private Markets practice (c.$100billion AUM) to lead Investor Relations for their listed private equity vehicle, as well as to play an integral role in developing their broader Private Markets business in the intermediary channel across the UK and Europe. It is a newly created opportunity and one that offers enhanced growth opportunities and career development.
THE ROLE:
Representing the firm’s intermediary private markets-focused business in meetings, media engagements, and at conferences/industry events
Leading on engagement with shareholders of the Investment Trust and driving the message and strategy development
Assisting in the development and refinement of materials and collateral
Delivering their private market funds’ value proposition messages persuasively through frequent interaction with investment teams and other key stakeholders
Regular update meetings with investors, potential investors, and other stakeholders
Travel for meetings with clients and potential investors around the UK and across Europe
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrable experience in investor relations and marketing, with a focus on private equity and/or asset management
Knowledge of the UK Investment Trust landscape – trends, major buyers, and competitors (preferred but not essential)
Excellent academic credentials
An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to multi-task with a fine-tuned attention to detail and the ability and desire to work on a wide range of projects concurrently
