THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners are delighted to be partnered with a leading European Private Equity firm to appoint a Senior Controller for their flagship healthcare asset based in Germany. The company has experienced strong organic growth domestically, but recently has expanded internationally through multiple strategic acquisitions. In line with the international growth, they are looking to bolster their finance structure and specifically the commercial capabilities within the group. To that end, the Senior Controller will play a key role as a lever of success moving forward. Reporting into the Director of FP&A, they will support all commercial decision making, along with improving the internal finance dialogue with the wider business. This will suit an established Controller with outstanding analytical skills; healthcare exposure would be beneficial.
THE ROLE:
Support the business planning cycle, to ensure alignment of forecasting and budgeting with a longer-term strategic plan
Ownership of the financial components of vendor diligence processes to support corporate transactions
Analysis and insight into all aspects of business performance
Interaction with the broader finance team to interpret a complex range of data points
Concise and impactful presentation of Key Performance Indicators to the executive team, investors and lenders
Drive the appropriate data structures from corporate systems to support the analysis and modelling referred to above
Performing sensitivity analysis as required
Modelling to assist with transaction/M&A activity
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Experienced FP&A or commercial finance operator
Prior healthcare or related industry experience
Proven management ability across multiple territories
Private Equity exposure is advantageous
