THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners are currently partnered with a market-leading, large-cap private equity-backed Healthcare & Life Sciences business headquartered in Berlin. The business is experiencing a period of aggressive international expansion, with plans for numerous high profile acquisitions over the next 18 months. They are seeking a Senior Treasury Manager to work closely with the CFO on international projects, playing a key role in cash management aspects, including bank relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for group-wide payment transactions
Treasury reporting, and the co-ordination of forward-looking treasury projects
Development of group-wide liquidity planning
Regular interaction with banks on topics including interest in liquid investments
Group-wide risk analysis
Development of hedging strategies
Monitoring and evaluating the financial markets
Administration and monitoring of Intercompany funding & netting strategy
Manage Treasury relations between the European entities and the holding entity based in Germany
Maintain Treasury systems to effectively manage cash activities
Identify and develop new processes and standards and deliver results with a direct impact on overall targets
Key Requirements:
5+ years’ experience in relevant positions, working for an international company
University degree in Business, Economics or Accountancy preferred
A good understanding of accounting with reliability and accuracy in dealing with financial figures and processes
Fluent German and English language skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Confident communicating with C-Level stakeholders
