Altus Partners are excited to be partnered with an investor-backed Software Unicorn which has secured significant funding from some of the world’s leading Private Equity, and Venture Capital funds. The business has a global presence and this role can be based either from London, Madrid, or Oslo. Their investment will help fuel an aggressive push into the US market and further development of new innovative technology, allowing them to remain at the forefront of their industry, and drive them toward an eventual, high-profile IPO. They are seeking a VP of FP&A to report into the CFO. You will lead a world-class FP&A function, provide critical insight into the business’ drivers, and support on broad corporate development activity including M&A and JV’s. THE ROLE:

  • Oversee the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, and management reporting across all of the business’ operations

    Provide insight into the business’ drivers and financial forecasts and results

  • Support wider corporate development activity, including M&A, partnerships, and joint ventures

  • Produce extensive board pack materials to be presented regularly to internal and external stakeholders including current and potential investors

  • Support business top-line and bottom-line growth via strategic and tactical pricing

  • Evaluate the benefits and risks of key business decisions. Contribute to winning key commercial deals

  • Prepare the financial function for an eventual IPO

  • Build strong partnerships within the finance function and the rest of the business

  • Lead a high-performing team across multiple locations with a focus on talent development

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fully Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) with 10+ years post qualified experience

  • Experience working within a PE/VC backed environment desirable

  • Experience building high-performing teams

  • Experience of investor relations beneficial

  • Experience working in a listed business beneficial

  • Hands-on attitude/Start-up mentality
