THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners has Partnered with a leading Alternative Investments Manager that is looking for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join the Group Finance team. The business is going through an exciting growth phase and restructuring project as the business is looking to significantly increase its AUM over the next couple of months.
THE ROLE:
The role will be responsible for several Group Finance Functions and supporting the wider Group Finance Team. The role will face off to both internal and external stakeholders so requires an individual with strong teamwork and communications skills. The role will sit within a strong and technical team so requires a strong understanding of international reporting standards. Description
•Preparation of the monthly reporting pack for presentation to management and the Board
•Preparation and assistance with the audit of the year-end and interim Group financial statements •Preparation or review of UK and overseas subsidiary financial statements
•Preparation of finance regulatory returns
•Preparation of subsidiary management accounts for regulated entities
•Assess the impact and support the implementation of new accounting standards
•Accounting and reconciliation of third party fee income
•Preparation of the Group consolidation, including cash flow statement
•Management of outsourced providers of financial information for inclusion into the consolidated financial statements
•Accounting for adjusting items between management and financial accounts
THE REQUIREMENTS:
•Qualified Accountant – ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent
•Technical understanding of IFRS
•Degree Educated
•Audit background•Attention to detail
•Good communication skills
•Ability to work under pressure
