​THE SEARCH:

Altus Partners are delighted to be partnered with a Private Equity backed Industrials organisation based in Germany. The company is backed by a leading mid-market investor who are seeking to rapidly scale the business through a targeted buy & build strategy. Based in Germany, this role will oversee the full European operations along with leading on all M&A and strategic scaling initiatives across the group, developing EBITDA growth and leading on all investor activity. The company has an established product base and has identified a number of key potential targets to supplement the group. This will suit an established CFO with a strong track record of scaling Private Equity industrials/manufacturing businesses, with a successful exit track record.

 

THE ROLE:

  • Offering Integral financial and strategic leadership

  • Contribute to developing the strategic agenda and financial planning of the business and its execution

  • Managing and developing a finance team, acting as a visible face of the business both internally and to external parties

  • Identification, planning and execution of acquisition targets including the integration process

  • Leading the finance function and oversight of all operational finance activity, including month end and board reporting, audit, and all year end activity

  • Prepare and present the board pack materials to internal and external stakeholders including investors

  • Ensuring that robust frameworks and systems are in place to accommodate new acquisitions and ensure smooth integration 

  • Present regular insightful management information, including market analysis, budgets, forecasting and necessary commentary 

  • Establish and ensure the adherence to financial processes that meet the statutory requirements of the organisation 

  • Managing and developing relationships with investors and key stakeholders across the business 

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experienced CFO or has been a number 1 at an EUR 500m turnover business

  • Mid/Large-cap Private Equity experience

  • Strong M&A/buy & build track record

  • International experience is a benefit

  • German speaker

  • Exit exposure is highly beneficial
