Altus Partners are delighted to be partnered with a leading global asset manager with close to USD $180 billion on behalf of institutional investors, pension funds, wholesale distributors and platforms, financial advisers and their clients worldwide, who are seeking to identify a Senior Strategy Manager to broaden out their EMEA capabilities. The firm engages across a wide variety of strategies, including but not limited to equities, direct and listed infrastructure, fixed income and multi-asset solutions, systematic equities and listed property.
THE ROLE:
Includes the development and review of strategic growth / diversification
Identify, assess, and conduct evaluations and diligence on potential inorganic opportunities
Strategic expansion opportunity assessment and execution of new growth markets
Review of new business initiatives to ensure alignment with the long-term strategy and co-ordinating business architecture
Support the Group Head of Corporate Finance & Strategy and leadership in regions in their efforts to grow the business including bespoke strategy analysis as required
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Business related discipline and/or Finance
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in strategy/business development, M&A or strategic planning role
Prior experience in a management consulting firms, investment banking or Big 4 corporate finance team preferred
Extensive track record in developing new inorganic growth opportunities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent knowledge of and work experience in the asset management and financial services arena
Demonstrated ability to work within a small team environment
