Altus Partners is delighted to be partnered with an esteemed global insurance company in the search for a Deputy Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in a newly created opportunity since private equity investment. This will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape in a high-growth, highly acquisitive environment.
As the Deputy CFO, you'll collaborate closely with the CFO and other senior management to oversee the financial operations of a complex business structure and diverse portfolio. Your strategic insight and financial expertise will be instrumental in driving the company's financial performance, ensuring compliance, and identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency.
THE ROLE:
Assist in developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Provide insightful analysis to drive decision-making and support strategic initiatives.
Oversee risk management strategies and internal controls.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience in a senior financial role within the insurance industry.
Strong understanding of Lloyd’s, insurance financial products, regulations and reporting standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
Solid grasp of financial analysis, forecasting, and risk management.
Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA or Chartered Accountant)
