Based in New York, this individual will be the driving force behind business development efforts and also take the lead on their go-to-market execution. The successful candidate will become a part of a truly world-class team and play a leading role as Director, Strategy, in a business that is having a significant positive impact on the environment.
THE ROLE:
Lead the organisations go-to-market strategy execution
Identify, evaluate and execute business opportunities
Develop and lead the implementation of business development projects
Deliver critical analysis and business insights that guide executive level decision making
Work closely with the VP Strategic Finance, collaborating on annual strategic planning processes and various strategic initiatives
Support corporate development efforts including M&A and strategic partnerships
Partner with the CEO and CFO on key commercial projects
Build a best-in-class team as the business continues to grow internationally
THE REQUIREMENTS:
7+ years’ experience working either in a top-tier consulting firm, investment bank or high-growth business
Ability to work within a fast-paced startup
Confidence to present to senior stakeholders, both internal and external
MBA from a leading institution beneficial
Outstanding communication skills
