THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners is excited to be working with a very successful growth investor given their success in the UK the fund is looking to expand its presence into Europe and you will be responsible for investments in the Nordics. The fund focuses on the B2B Digital sector and will typically invest £2-10M, taking minority and majority stakes. You will be based in Sweden and leading investments in the Nordic region and in time will build a team around you to further the teams growth. Our client is open to someone coming from an investing or advisory background
THE ROLE:
Deal Origination and sourcing new investment opportunities
Support the buildout of the funds presence in the Nordic region, developing relationships with the advisory community
Execution of deals as a Deal Captain leading deals through to completion
Work with portfolio companies, taking board seats and helping them realise their value
Build a local investment team in time
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Significant deal experience, with a strong understanding of deal structures having worked on a significant number of end to end transactions from a buyside or advisory perspective
Understanding of the nuances of executing a deal in the Nordic region
Ideally experience in the B2B Digital sector having executed deals in one or more of B2B technology, software, media, information or services
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
