They are seeking a Head of IT / IT Director to design and implement an IT roadmap and lead a lean development team as they look to set up new – and develop existing – infrastructure and move IT to a more internal capability.

  • Oversee all technology operations

  • Set objectives and strategies for the technology function

  • Establish technology policies and processes

  • Improve and evaluate technology in line with the business’ strategic vision

  • Select and implement technologies to streamline operations

  • Design and customise systems and platforms

  • Maintain group technology infrastructure, including networks, telecoms and hardware

  • Manage the deployment, development, monitoring, maintenance, upgrading and support of systems

  • Rollout of group systems and applications, managing the integration from legacy infrastructure

  • Lead a high performing team to develop, rollout and manage mobile and digital applications

  • Build out a data and analytics capability 

  • Control the IT opex and capex budget, developing efficient and cost effective solutions

  • Build relationships with 3rd party vendors and IT partners



  • Successful track record of managing an IT department in a hands on capacity

  • Experience of working in a multi-site environment

  • Development background and experience of managing developers

  • Experience in overseeing the implementation of internally developed and third party technology

  • Ability to build relationships with senior-level stakeholders and vendors

  • Ability to thrive in a lean, team-orientated, entrepreneurial environment

  • Effective decision maker able to work under pressure in a fast paced, time sensitive environment

  • Possess leadership gravitas that inspires the team and garners buy in from stakeholders

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ideally some experience with MS stack (Azure, c#, .NET etc.)

  • Some cyber security experience would be preferred
