Altus Partners are partnered with a private equity backed Fintech business that, through it’s pioneering use of technology, is changing the face of the lending industry. They are seeking an ambitious Financial Controller to be based in their London headquarters and partner the Finance Director as they move towards an exit event the next 3 years. Recently featured on the Times Tech Track 100 list, our client has seen exponential growth over the last 12 months and are seeking someone who can help facilitate their ambitious plans for international expansion.
THE ROLE:
Ownership of the monthly management accounts process
Manage and develop the transactional finance team
Take the lead on the year end close and annual audit processes
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of reporting process
Prepare and review annual statutory financial statements
Provide financial analysis and support as the company implements its growth strategy
Liaise directly with the private equity fund on investor reporting
Work closely with the Finance Director on various ad-hoc commercial project work
THE REQUIREMENTS:
ACA/ACCA/CIMA Fully qualified with 4-5 years PQE
Experience working within a private equity backed/Financial Services environment beneficial
High energy individual who can think outside of the box
Advanced Excel skills
SAGE experience beneficial
Experience leading Audit processes
Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and UK/US tax compliance
