Altus Partners have partnered with a Leading Investments Firm that is looking to bring on a Fund Operations Manager to support the Chief Operating Officer team in London. The business is a leading Credit Investment Manager that focusses on investing into Europe and is expecting to double its AUM over the next 5 years. The business is going through an exciting phase as they are expanding globally as well as growing their team in the UK. This position will hold pivotal responsibilities as it will have oversight of the Credit Funds administration.

 

THE ROLE:

The business is looking to bring on an operations professional to support the COO through a period of significant growth and have oversight of the team which manages the credit funds and loan funds administration responsibilities. The role will be the main support point of contact through the business for all credit and loans administration and operations queries concerning the front office and COO office. It is a growth hire and allows the person to take full responsibility for the function. The successful candidate will need to be a Strong Communicator and have an established track record in loans, CLOs, structured credit finance.

  • Monitor daily operations of the Credit and Loans funds

  • Oversight of subscriptions and redemptions received into the administrator and cash settlement process

  • Oversight of cash receipts and payments across the credit funds and overseeing accurate and timely processing of wires

  • Oversight of approving invoices for payment prepared by the administrators

  • Managing FX trades and settlements and margin requirement across the Fund trading agreements

  • Oversee the settlement of assets and relationship with 3rd party settlements team

  • Oversee the subscription and redemption of funds invested into 3rd party funds

  • Produce end of day cash reports detailed commentary on fund debits and credits

  • Manage dispute resolution process with the administrator

  • The candidate will be expected to be proactive and creative in finding ways to make Operations more scalable

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 - 6 years’ experience in an operations function within Structured Credit, Hedge fund or Investment Bank.

  • Strong understanding of loans or loans products

  • Strong Attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to work in a growing environment
