Altus Partners are excited to be partnered with an investor-backed Software business which has secured significant funding from leading Private Equity, and Venture Capital funds. They are at the forefront of their industry, and are a trusted partner to some of the world’s largest organisations, already boasting a significant presence across the US and EMEA.
They are seeking an ambitious Group Financial Controller, to act as a right-hand person to the VP Finance. This person will help lead and develop a world-class finance function, and help facilitate the organisations continued growth as they move towards a high profile exit event.
This is a hybrid working opportunity, which requires 1 day a week in their Bristol HQ.
THE ROLE:
Deliver process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting process
Oversight of the day-to-day running of the operational Finance team
Leading the annual audit process
Oversight of Treasury, cash management
Co-manage a number of key external stakeholder relationships (banks / audit)
Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance across various international jurisdictions
Responsibility for the overseeing of month-end and year-end close process
Assisting the FP&A Director with the preparation of the group budget and group financial forecasts
Managing a team of 7 (AP/AR etc. 5 direct reports)
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Fully Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) with 7+ years professional experience
Experience of NetSuite (or similar)
Experience working within a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment beneficial
SaaS experience desired but not essential
Advanced Excel skills
Strong technical knowledge
Very high level of initiative and self-motivation
