THE SEARCH:
Head of Data required. Altus Partners’ client, a large cap private equity backed SaaS asset, is looking for a Head of Data to join their team in London. You must have experience of working in private equity / for a private equity backed business.
The Head of Data will be responsible for leading the data strategy and data architecture, using data to drive business insights, as well as taking ownership for driving a data driven culture across the business.
THE ROLE:
Leading a team of data analysts, data scientists, and data engineers
Designing the data strategy and roadmap
Responsible for the data architecture in AWS
Responsible for the build and maintenance of secure and scalable data pipelines
Responsible for data governance, data security, and ensuring data quality
Reporting data insights to a variety of stakeholders – up to C-suite – across the business
Seeking to adopt new and emerging technology trends – particularly around ML and AI
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Experience managing data analysts, data scientists, data engineers
Previous hands on experience as a data engineer building data pipelines
Expertise in processing data using ETL
Experience in productionising analytics products
Proficiency with SQL and Python
Proficiency with AWS – and related services
Excellent stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills
Strong ability to articulate data to a non-technical audience
Background with ML or AI preferred
Educational background in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics etc.
