Altus Partners are delighted to be partnered with a late-stage Venture backed B2B SaaS organisation based in Germany. The company has experienced phenomenal organic growth due to the success of the highly innovative product base centred around its AI intelligence platform. They have recently completed a substantial Series A fundraise and plan to consolidate their domestic market position whilst rapidly scaling internationally. The business is now seeking its first Head of Finance to develop the finance function and partner the CEO on future funding activity, ensuring the business hits its strategic milestones going forward.
THE ROLE:
Leading the finance function including oversight of all operational and commercial finance activity
Leading on all future fundraising activity
Managing and developing the finance team
Ensuring that robust frameworks and systems are in place to accommodate continued rapid growth
Develop the investor narrative and brand image
Present regular insightful management information, including market analysis, forecasting and necessary commentary
Establish and ensure the adherence to financial processes that meet the statutory requirements of the organisation
Strong management of working capital, cashflow and liquidity positions
Managing and developing relationships with investors and key stakeholders across the business
Model financial climate scenarios and market trends to assist senior executives in creating strategic plans
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Prior technology/marketing/SaaS experience
Experience in scaling a technology led business is desirable
Experience working in a private equity or venture capital backed business, with fundraising experience
Building a finance function, implementing best practice and ensuring robust frameworks and procedures are in place
