​THE SEARCH: 

Altus Partners are delighted to be partnered with a leading Large-Cap Private Equity firm to lead the search for a Head of FP&A for an established B2B services asset with offices in London and Birmingham. The organisation is highly acquisitive with multiple strategic additions executed in the last two years. They are now seeking a Head of FP&A to join their best-in-class leadership team and support the Group CFO on all strategic/commercial finance matters. The Head of FP&A will upstream the finance dialogue and data presentation to the investors, along with managing the commercial finance team. This is a key hire and will suit an FP&A/Commercial Finance leader with a PLC background and exposure to private equity.

THE ROLE: 

  • Support the CFO on commercial decision making

  • Leadership and development of the FP&A function

  • Lead on all data presentation and commercial insight

  • Support the business planning cycle, to ensure alignment of forecasting and budgeting with a longer-term strategic plan

  • Ownership of the financial components of vendor diligence processes to support corporate transactions

  • Analysis and insight into all aspects of business performance  

  • Interaction with the broader finance team to interpret a complex range of data points

  • Concise and impactful presentation of Key Performance Indicators to the executive team, investors and lenders

  • Drive the appropriate data structures from corporate systems to support the analysis and modelling referred to above

  • Performing sensitivity analysis as required  

  • Modelling to assist with transaction/M&A activity 

 

THE REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA

  • Prior B2B experience is highly beneficial

  • Exposure to a listed environment 

  • Private Equity experience is an advantage

  • Previous track record of supporting a CFO
