THE SEARCH: 

Altus Partners are delighted to be partnered with a leading Large-Cap Private Equity firm to lead the search for a Head of FP&A for an established B2B services asset with offices in London and Birmingham. The organisation is highly acquisitive with multiple strategic additions executed in the last two years. They are now seeking a Head of FP&A to join their best-in-class leadership team and support the Group CFO on all strategic/commercial finance matters. The Head of FP&A will upstream the finance dialogue and data presentation to the investors, along with managing the commercial finance team. This is a key hire and will suit an FP&A/Commercial Finance leader with Private Equity experience and exposure to a high volume transaction environment.

THE ROLE: 

  • Build and develop a best-in-class group FP&A function

  • Lead on all data presentation and commercial insight to the board and investors

  • Play a crucial part in developing the investor narrative and overall equity story

  • Analysis of ‘go to market’ strategy for new products internationally

  • Develop and implement the group financial planning model, incorporating P&L, cash flow, balance sheet and key performance KPIs. 

  • Working with key operational managers, implementing a monthly reforecast process, highlighting risks and opportunities to budgets 

  • Monthly reporting of the reforecast/cash flows 

  • Performing sensitivity analysis as required  

  • Ownership of the annual budget cycle  

  • Business partnering with sales and marketing teams on delivery of the budget and forecast.  

  • Implement weekly and monthly commercial reporting providing the business with a global view of performance v budget/forecast 

 

THE REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA

  • Prior B2B experience is highly beneficial

  • Exposure to a listed environment 

  • Private Equity experience is an advantage
