Altus Partners are currently partnered with a rapidly growing, private equity backed multisite B2B Industrials business, that is undertaking an aggressive buy-and-build strategy. Headquartered in London our client is backed by a leading mid-market PE fund that has an outstanding track record in the B2B space. This role will suit someone who has direct experience working in a buy-and-build environment, and is comfortable running end-to-end M&A deals autonomously.
Map relevant markets and identify potential targets
Contact targets and manage pipeline.
Build relationships with relevant advisors.
Assist with analysis of financials and potential deal valuation/structure.
Building of synergy cases and assistance with vendor negotiations
Drafting of offer documents
Manage and coordinate all due diligence work streams including adviser costs
Supporting with target origination through building broker / adviser relationships
Analysis of deals 30/100 and 365 days after completion
Preparation and delivery of pitch materials, management presentations and board presentations.
Track integration progress and synergy delivery post completion
7+years of experience in M&A, with a background from investment banking, PE, Consultancy or Big Four
Strong end-to-end M&A deal execution capacity, in particular strong capability for deal origination
Advanced Excel and modelling skills
Excellent communication skills, ability to work closely with the senior management teams as well as interact with entrepreneurs, advisors and small business owners
