Altus Partners is working with a market leading buyout private equity fund with over £3.5bn AUM to identify an associate to join the team who focuses on new deal execution and portfolio management. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your career by making your first move onto the buyside, and to pursue a career in private equity covering three main sectors including Technology, Business Services and FIG.

 

THE ROLE:

  • Production of marketing materials

  • Provides decision making support and analysis to drive portfolio performance

  • Assist in the in the production of monitoring

  • Prepares models and other analytics accurately and independently

  • Supports development of investment thesis and scoping of due diligence to support

  • Accurate modelling and analysis of complex commercial situations

  • Supports overall decision making with sound commercial judgements and develops insights into broader commercial context

  • Accurate and timely production of investor communication materials

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1st class degree from a leading university, preferred subjects include mathematics / economics or related subjects

  • 2-3 years of experience gained in a bulge bracket bank, leading consultancy, or accountancy firm.

  •  European language skills are preferred.  

  • Strong modelling skills
