With their achievements as a launchpad, they're poised to further augment their capabilities, particularly within the credit. They will shortly begin raising their 2nd fund, which isn’t a mere addition to the firm's broader investment capabilities, but a testament to their dedication to versatility and innovation. The credit offering extends a comprehensive suite of credit structures tailored specifically to support rapidly expanding biotech firms globally.

 

THE ROLE:

The fund seeks an Investment Associate to enrich their team—a unique individual with a trifecta of ambition, tenacity, and a prodigious aptitude for numbers. The prospective Associate isn't just expected to fill a role but to elevate it. While the following tasks outline the core responsibilities, the position extends far beyond these boundaries:

  • Analysing company financial statements;

  • Developing detailed financial models with projections;

  • Assessing company capital structures and reviewing related legal documents;

  • Analysing company valuations using various macroeconomic and business specific assumptions;

  • Conducting interviews with industry experts and company management;

  • Performing qualitative business and industry due diligence;

  • Assessing strengths and weaknesses of various businesses;

  • Performing comparable company analyses;

  • Developing comprehensive investment thesis and memos;

  • Presenting investment ideas to portfolio management;

  • Participating in deal structuring, legal documentation and negotiations; and

  • Monitoring the performance of existing portfolio investments.

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience as an analyst with a top investment bank within investment banking or leveraged finance;

  • Outstanding financial modelling and analytical skills;

  • Demonstrated competency in financial statement analysis, business valuation, accounting and finance; and

  • Healthcare experience or exposure helpful but not essential.

  • The successful candidate will have outstanding initiative and a strong work ethic;

  • The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and

  • He/She will be team-oriented and must possess strong integrity and professionalism

  • Bachelor’s degree with honours from a top university or college
