Altus Partners is partners with a leading mid-market private equity fund is seeking an experienced Investment Director/Partner to join its Technology focused Team. As a member of this team, you will work closely with senior management to identify, evaluate and execute investment opportunities in the technology sector throughout the UK and Europe.
THE ROLE:
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the technology industry, including entrepreneurs, investors, and strategic partners.
Conduct rigorous due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including financial analysis, market research, and competitive analysis.
Negotiate and structure investment transactions, working closely with legal, financial, and other advisors.
Actively monitor and manage portfolio investments, including regular communication with management teams and board members.
Work collaboratively with other investment professionals to drive overall portfolio performance and contribute to the success of the firm.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Director or Partner level experience in private equity, with a focus on the technology sector.
Strong track record of successful transactions in the technology industry, with a deep understanding of the sector and the ability to identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities.
Strong financial analysis skills, including experience in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor junior team members.
