THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners is excited to be working with one of the UK's most active Venture Capital funds. The fund invests into IP rich technology businesses and will invest from £50,000 - £5,000,000. You’ll take on significant responsibility from day one and there is a dedicated support and training program in place. The fund has two offices – Cardiff and Wrexham and you’ll be able to work from either, being in the office 1-2 days a week initially. The suitable candidate will have a clear interest in the tech space and be financially numerate with experience likely coming from accounting (Transaction services / Lead Advisory), consulting, investment banking or VC.
THE ROLE:
Deal Origination, sourcing new investment opportunities
Prepare investment papers
Provide transaction support
Work with portfolio companies and management teams, taking board seats and helping them realise their value
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Strong research skills, ability to filter information quickly
Demonstratable interest and experience in the tech space
Prior exposure to tech investing – this could be in an advisory capacity
Strong analytical skills
Interpersonal skills
