THE SEARCH:
Our client is a leading alternative asset manager overseeing approximately £95 billion in assets. With an outstanding track record in private equity, private credit, real estate, and infrastructure, our client is currently experiencing significant growth and is seeking an ambitious sales professional to join our Munich-based team.
In this role, your primary focus will be on cultivating new relationships and nurturing existing ones across the German private wealth market. This includes engaging with a diverse set of investors, such as global banks, private banks, asset managers, and family offices. Your responsibilities will involve promoting our full range of private market investment funds as part of their exciting expansion phase.
THE ROLE:
Assisting the team in strategic distribution initiatives for both open-ended and closed-ended private market funds
Cultivating and overseeing relationships with current and prospective Private Wealth partners, including global, regional, and local banks, as well as asset managers
Manage the entire sales process from qualifying to closing
Assist in driving the brand recognition and business development efforts in the German private wealth market
Develop and maintain a solid technical understanding of the firm's products and strategies to discuss with clients and prospects effectively and confidently
Confidently present to clients, prospects on the firm's investments and funds/strategies
THE REQUIREMENTS:
You will have between 3 – 7 years’ experience in the German wholesale/private wealth market with a track record of winning and developing key relationships and raising assets. You will ideally have experience selling private market investment funds, though this is not essential.
