THE SEARCH:
We are delighted to partner a global mega-buyout private equity firm in this search. The business has a significant multi-billion insurance portfolio and they require an individual to provide reporting support to insurance clients and portfolio companies.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the head of the team, the candidate will assist in the preparation of investor reporting, fund performance analytics in addition to forecasting and analysing future investment performance for the insurance portfolio. Responsibilities also include:
•Track existing and prospective investment activity across the insurance client’s portfolio and support the investment function as needed
•Generate customized client / investor reporting for both internal and external stakeholders
•Assist investment team members in responding to specific client requests when needed
•Provide support for weekly, monthly & quarterly portfolio monitoring process and ongoing analytics to track the strategic asset allocation and performance
•Assist the team with additional ad hoc projects and requests as needed
THE BACKGROUND:
•A minimum of 3 years of experience in an Asset Management or Life Insurance industry with strong analytical experience
•Solid understanding of fixed income products
•Proficient in Excel (VBA standard)
•Experience working with European life insurance companies with exposure to the specific investment constraints of regulated balance sheets (Solvency 2, IFRS accounting, etc.)
