THE SEARCH:

Altus Partners are delighted to be partnering with the investment arm of one of most ambitious urban development projects in the Middle East. The purpose of the group is to nurture the expansion of the economic sectors in the $500billlion project, and will invest through mergers and acquisitions and venture capital in technology startups, with a focus on pioneering growth companies and next-generation industries.

 This role is pivotal in supporting Senior Management and maintaining relationships with high-profile strategic investors, including global institutions, fund of funds, and corporates. It will play a key role in shaping and conveying the funds external narrative and related communications.

 

THE ROLE:

  • Oversee incoming investor interest in the fund, ensuring a consistent alignment with the brand. Act as a primary point of contact and facilitate follow-ups with all prospective investors from an investment standpoint.

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential investment partners, encompassing institutional investors, private equities, and corporate entities.

  • Take charge of developing and implementing investor presentations, pitch decks, and marketing materials. Organize non-deal roadshows for the investment team.

  • Conduct an in-depth analysis of the investor landscape, segmenting partners and collaborating with relevant entities to define investor journeys for each segment.

  • Collaborate with ongoing consultant support to integrate the CRM platforms with the wider group

  • Work with MarComs to refine messaging and brand identity, effectively communicating its agenda and role in the company ecosystem, and construct a compelling investor narrative.

  • Lead or participate in investor meetings, conference calls, roadshows, trade events, and international sustainability conferences

 

 THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • An understanding as to how value is created in venture capital investment portfolios, and ability to communicate technical investments to a sophisticated investor group.  

  • Previous involvement in Investor Relations, Co-Investment, or Corporate Access is essential, with a preference for candidates possessing a mix of global and local experience. Additional proficiency in business and corporate communications is a valuable asset.

  • Proven track record in collaborating with diverse entities such as large multinational corporations, government bodies, sovereign funds, institutional investors, venture capitalists, and private equity firms, spanning various geographical markets.

  • Extensive familiarity with global and local financial and environmental regulatory landscapes, with a particular emphasis on in-depth knowledge of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) regulations and processes.

  • Demonstrated experience in engaging with regulators on an international scale.
