THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners are delighted to be partnering with a market leading venture debt fund, who are currently looking for a portfolio analyst to join their growing portfolio, currently worth close to €3bn, to utilise the available data in order to show trends, consistencies and imperfections in the portfolio, and present the findings through detailed reporting to key stakeholders.
THE ROLE:
Lead the performance analysis and standing data across the firms existing funds and future funds
Run and Maintain KPI dashboard and suite of management information
Update track record package on a quarterly basis, ensuring data is reconciled used by the Finance and Investment Team
Assist on presenting quarterly updates to the Partner group on movements of the funds
Supporting responses to LP information requests regarding fund performance and provision of portfolio company information
Develop and maintain the fund models, which are used to monitor performance and model portfolio out-turns under multiple scenarios
Work alongside the Investment team to update equity projections on a quarterly basis
Lead the implementation and ongoing management of a new portfolio monitoring/MI system
THE REQUIREMENTS:
10 years of relevant experience as a portfolio analyst, data analyst or related role.
University degree or equivalent from a leading university in mathematics or similar/related discipline.
Excellent excel skills
Experience gained in private debt/private equity/asset management or related fields are suitable.
